Kissing of the Twilight Bliss

Standard

In the twilight of my eye

I spied

In soft and subtle shade

A hazy laden glade

Of leaf and damp

With dark the earth

Rose up to spill

Into the senses

Filled and full

With musky dusk

To drink the thick

Aroma of the living

In decay the green

Worn down to brown

And soft the mud

To rise above the tread of foot

I could quite

Sink so peaceful here

Into oblivions mouth

And swallowed be

Forever in giving

Myself into this kissing

Of the twilight bliss
