Ancestral Incest-imonial

Palimpsest me Mother
Of Mother of mothers
Of mine of me the
You on top
Or I below
We know not
Who from whom
We spring and form
The reformation
Individual from all
We grow and self same seed
Is prime to be
Are you the covering
Of book you bound
That’s me
Too tightly wound
In your own flesh
Or I just the receptacle
Wherein you dwell
You steal you thief
To rule with hell
Of the incestuous
The battle of the best of us
The palimpsest bequest
Of us the pair of one
Sprung from the many
Gone before but never
Laid to rest
