Vacation

Standard

When I have no body
I have no god
To resonate
I have vacated fate
And left behind the self
I bore at births inheritance
Of what I’m worth such wealth
Of what I should have been
And seen and done
I walked away
From it too heavy
Load to carry
Far into this night
Of no identity to cost
On road I go to haunt and roam
No home but passageways
Of deep and dark the valleys
Of the lost in heart and alleys
Loom of shade and shy from known
And loan of any shape or temporary
Form to take for nothing lasts
Or substance has to nourish
What can never eat
A feat I do attempt
A ghost vacated host
Of body left astray
I go away perhaps to find
Myself one day
Upon the road of roamers
For who knows….
