The Coat

Standard

Alter the outer

On altar of self

The coat you wear

Too thin

Let’s in

The wind

Blows under your skin

The rivers that run

With life through your blood

Is it enough

A flood of such

To warm the cruel

This duel

Of Outer to Inner

From Inner to On

And who’s the fool?

Who’s worn to forsworn

The elect and protect

The sacred sect

So secret set

Inside the hides we wear
